Artist Profile Hans-Ole Wandt alias LeWang.

The artist is self-educated. He was born in Randers, Denmark in 1953.

He have all his childhood lived at Bornholm, who is an little Island between Denmark and

Sweden.

He have always search for the right place to live, the right place where his enormous

creativity could develop.

This searching for the right place brought him to Greenland where he lived for 5 years, after

his stay he returned to Denmark.

Lewang live to day in Thailand, where he has been for 5 years.

Hans-Ole Wandt get his inspiration from everyday life. Quite often it is some things he see

when he walk around, who give him inspiration for his next work of art. Inspiration can come

from a piece of garbage on the roadside, air pollution in big cities or just loneliness.

He gets inspiration also from nature which surrounds us.

It is easy to recognize his work by the colors and deep meaning expressed in his works. The

artist is unique in making a series of 2 – 4 paintings on one motive.

Hans-Ole Wandt is a rising Danish artist; he has exhibited his works on four continents, and

has sold his paintings via the internet and trough a gallery in Florida.

Thailand has also had a strong influence on the quality and style that one can find in his

works.
